Beautiful Oregon Coast

So back in July some friends and I headed to the Coast for a relaxing night of roasting weenies, bonfire, and the beach. (I'm playing catch up on my trips. I'll be posting New Orleans and my recent Washington DC & New York trip shortly)

We went to a beach that I haven't been to before, it's a little south of Newport and it's BEAUTIFUL!

Can't have a bonfire without some water! I sure love water.

Can't have a weenie roast without having s'mores.

And we were able to enjoy an amazing sunset.

That's our coast trip in a nutshell. Ladies, we need to do another one.

Another first - motorcycle
Tonight was my first motorcylce lesson. And I was very nervous. VERY! Then my brother asked me "have you ever been on a motorcycle before?" So I proceeded to have my first motorcycle ride and then my first lesson. It wasn't as scary toward the end. But still scary. I need more lessons.

Time to come home
I had a blast but I'm so excited to get back home. But my first flight is delayed & as it stands there is a possability that I will not make the connecting flight. *shakes fist* New Jersey...

New York!
So DC was amazing but we're now in New York. We arrived to our ghetto hotel & was like the hotel is really nice but the neighborhood is not so nice. We called around & now are stating at Times Square! Thank you Marriott, you are awesome.

Today was nice closure

I learned some new things about grandpa, sang "Nearer My God To Thee" with the other grand kids (32 were counted & not all of us were here). Today ended up being a very nice day.

I'm off to bed so I can wake up at 3:30 AM to get to the airport so I can fly back to Oregon then fly to Newark a few hours later so I can have fun in Washington DC & new York. Night!

On the road again...
We're driving to Utah for grandpa's funeral. We left at 5:30 (only a half hour behind schedule). Normally I fly instead of driving but it was too expensive. I will be flying back to pdx on Thursday morning and I'll be staying at pdx waiting for my friends to come so we can fly off to our New York / Washington DC trip. See ya in two weeks!
