Movie Time!

It's that time again!  Community College and The Historic Elsinore Theatre are doing their film series for the semester.  Their theme is "Intrigue and Romance" and all the classics (except the silent movies) are early WWII.  Tonight was the first showing, Casablanca.

I've never seen this movie but I have wanted to.  I knew I would never get around to renting it and this way I get to see it on the big screen.  I really liked it and I never knew it was funny.  Honestly it took me about 10 mins to be able to understand what they were saying, but once I figured that part out it was funny.  I really want to go to next week's showing.

Are there any classic movies that you want to see?

I want to see South Pacific again (I have only seen it once and it was a long time ago) and I still have never seen Casablanca so definitely that one and West Side Story. I'm sure there are others but that's what's coming to my brain at almost midnight! Glad you had fun!!!

Sounds like you had fun. My famous classic is Shane.

I love Casablanca! I bet it was amazing on the big screen. Wish I could have seen it. That sounds like a wonderful film series. Can't wait to check out the list. I am a HUGE Classic movie fan. Maybe I could tag along on Wednesdays cause Brian is usually busy with Bishop stuff.

I really like all the oldies. I saw Casablanca for the first time this year too, and I had a hard time catching on. But like you said once I did I loved it!
