Seaside, Oregon

The last weekend in August, I drove up to Seaside, OR to meet up with my friend and old roommate Katie. I haven't seen her for years! (We had so many grand adventures!)


Katie saw a candy store and we had to go in it. They were giving out fudge samples and they were so good!!


We saw chocolate covered bacon in the store.... I don't know about that.


We may have seen a hat store.... and may have tried on some hats..... just maybe...



Obviously Katie is better at it than I am. ;-)


This is Katie's beautiful family, see that cute boy on the horse? That's Jimmy and this was his first carousel ride!


Here's Katie's beautiful family again taking Jimmy to play in the ocean for the first time. He may have gotten a little excited and started to run, which resulted in him falling face forward into the cold water.


He may have gotten soaked and at first didn't know what to think of it. But in the end he still wanted to play in the ocean.

PS - isn't he just ADORABLE?!?!?
