Cows!!

It's a BEAUTIFUL day today, so I packed up lunch and went for a walk. I decided to go back to Calderglen Country Park to eat lunch and to enjoy the day.

Walked past the cows again, and two were eating super close to the fence.

I decided to check out one of the trails before entering the park and it took me around the pasture and I got close to the cows up on the hill.

Check out those horns!

I discovered that one of the trails leads to a waterfall, the lady told me it's a LONG walk though. I looked it up online when I returned home and it's 5 miles! But in the same area are remnants of the Calderwood Castle, I'm so tempted but a roundtrip will be 10 miles.... I keep having flashbacks to the Silver Creek Falls loop but this trail might not have all of those hills and steps (I still have nightmares about that loop on the hottest day of the year!) LOL I'm debating. If all else fails I may give it a go and see how far I can make it.

Hey look they made the scottish flag :-)

Oh Steph, you should totally do the walk. When are you going to get another chance to do something like. Just be sure to plan a whole day - take some food and plenty of water. (and your camera of course) It will be spectacular!

You can totally do it chica. Double up on the water, take some snacks and think, aye yi yi yi & 'I think I like it, oh yes I like it'. Take it slow & take lots of photos & two hours later you'll be there. :-)

I'd do it for the castle alone!! I love the way you're learning the lingo...."give it a go". I love it!! ;) Do they say "dust bin" and "green grocer"? :) Millions of smiles, I wish I was there too!!
