I started the day off chatting with Amanda which was a lot of fun. We chatted about a lot of things including how I think series 5 of Doctor Who is amazing.
I met Lesley Ann for lunch. She's a lot of fun and super nice! Remember several posts back I was talking about the castle ruins at Calderglen park that would have been a 5 mile hike each way, well we're going to go hiking sometime eventually. So I'll get pictures of those ruins! And as a bonus it won't be that long of a hike because she lives near the end of the trail, ha!
Then I attended a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with friends and the Elders. Oh my goodness, I laughed so hard that evening! Susan hosted it and invited several people so it was a lot of people's first Thanksgiving in Scotland. Those are good people! Oh, and I had my first turduckin... is that how it's spelled? And there were these mini sausages wrapped in bacon. Oh! and mashed potatoes and gravy! And a whole lot more of yummy goodness. (This was their first candy yams - or whatever they're called and it was a hit)
And I finished it off with a video chat with almost the family! This was the first video chat I've had with some of them.
Yes, it was a great day!
