My penguin nativity set has been up for awhile and now it's tree time!
But there's one problem I'm on a budget and I would rather spend my spending money on clothes that I need - so I decided to make my tree. (I'm poor! LOL)
I love it! It took 4 different colors of green to make that bad boy, there are blue lights on it (a tribute to one hilarious family tree) and red ball ornaments, and to top it off there's a yellow star. I'm proud of my Christmas tree.
I bought a Dr. Who advent calendar when I was Asda the other day; so that's hanging on the wall as well.
I also made presents and put a couple under the tree (I didn't plan it to be to scale) FYI - the blue w/ the orange bow is from The Doctor, it may look small but it's larger inside.
I'm not done yet though... When I look at it I can tell it's not done. It needs something else on the other side of the advent calendar. I've been thinking of what and I think I figured it out - an angel. I'm going to draw / color an angel (but not a weeping angel because those are creepy)

I LOVE YOUR TREE! I think we will draw one too...much easier...just kidding..I will get my tree out...maybe tomorrow!

HAHAHA that is fabulous! I missed this post when you first posted it..anyway, my favorite part of it is the present from The Doctor and of course the advent calendar! You rock. Way to be super fantastic and creative! Love ya! Miss you too!!!!!!! (I have a lot of exclamation points too...because I am emphatic about how I feel lol)
