Shoes and Pants

So I've been having a problem finding boots to buy. Most of the stores that I can get to seem to have "cheap" shoes. When I feel them and look at the soles it doesn't seem that they'll last. I'm one of those people that don't want to spend a lot on shoes but wants them to last forever. I'll spend more on shoes than I would on other items though, but I still have a limit. (oh and I can't do the full size boots cause they're too small for my calfs - so they can't be too tall)

So I've been hunting for shoes and haven't found any that I love. I've found some that have been ok but I've been hesitant to spend the £25 because I can see them falling apart quickly or the soles slipping on ice, etc.

I know I'm picky. But at least I did find some great walking shoes shortly after arriving. They are water-proof and comfy and have been a life saver!

Anyways, I saw a commercial for T.K. Maxx.... yes not T.J. Maxx , T.K. Maxx... so I checked out their website and found 3 boots that I fell in love with and all were between £20 - 35. Yes I can't inspect them but you can't go wrong with suede and leather. And T.J. Maxx at home always had good stuff, so I'm going off that basis. (If all else fails I can return them).

Can't wait for them to arrive in a couple of days.... but with the snow it may be a little longer than a couple of days.

Onto the other subject - pants. Oh my goodness, I desperately need pants! I only have 1 pair of jeans. I've tried looking but all the stores are too small. But I know there are bigger sizes out there because I've passed girls a little bit larger and mucho larger than me and they are wearing pants. Maybe I'll have to stop one of them and compliment their pants "Oh my goodness, those are cute pants, where did you get them?" even if they're ugly just so I know where to find larger sizes.

Man I should be in bed but I'm not tired. My sleeping schedule is off bad!

Edit: I thought I would post pictures of my boots. I'll be very sad if I have to return them....

Do they have a Marks & Spencers there? You may have to go into Glasgow to buy the things you need.

What size are you? I have some almost brand new you could have.

You can buy pants at New Look or Next! The have a plus size section. You can go online to Marisota.co.uk I'm going to order a few things from there.

Get some spray to waterprrof your suede boots or the snow with ruin them!!!

Definitely New Look, their stuff is great and lasts a long time. Evans is good too, although I'm sure they're a tad bit more expensive.xx

Have you tried Glasgow City Centre? There are no less than 25 stores with hundreds of shoes and boots styles between Central Station and Buchanan Street. Besides, a great option to see the great view offered by Glasgow on Christmas (Ex.: Christmas lights at George Square)
