My word

So about a week ago I posted about "Eat, Pray, Love" and asking what your word is. Well, I think it's time I posted my word.

It took me awhile to think of a word. My brain kept going to back to who I was - thinking of high school and years afterwards. I was thinking that a lot of my descriptive words would do with depression and emotions and even wannabe. What I thought and what I liked depended on others around me. I wanted to be liked and to fit in so I molded with my surroundings and with the people in my surroundings.

But then I would remind myself that I'm not who I was during those years. Then I didn't like myself. Then I didn't know who I was. I've changed. I've grown.

I had to keep reminding myself to focus on the me now not the past me. Because now my likes and opinions have nothing to do with who or what is in my surroundings.

I jokingly used 'wannabe' in my journal title on my blip account because in a sense I'm still a wannabe. Not as a person who changes herself to fit in or tries to hard to fit in, but as a person who wants to have skills. I want to be a photographer. I want to be an artist. I want to be a hat maker, etc.... you get the point.

Needless to say it took some going back and forth to decide on one word to describe me. One word to describe who I am. (And it's not 24601) My word is:

It seems like I have a never-ending list of things I want to learn. It seems like I'm constantly trying to find myself. So I think seeker sums all of that up well.... and sums me up.

I love your word!! You are amazing!
Sometimes I think SPINNING is my word. I often feel like I'm spinning my wheels. TRYING is my other word, I love to try new things and experiences, but SEEKER is a much better word than that, it sounds much more positive. I love the thought you put into this. Can I be you when I grow up?
Love you!!

I think of you as an AVENTURER. You're not afraid to go after what you want to see (no matter what country it may be in). You love to learn how to make things that aren't a fad. You can make clothes with NO pattern and they fit!! You're amazing (that could be another word that I would use to describe you).

I love this! My mind of course, turns to Harry Potter and Quidditch. So I think you're out there trying to catch your snitch and having a good time while you seek!
