Aunt Mary asked me and my sister to make a cake for Dani's baby shower. I thought of two things - Dani loves Hawaii, so I wanted a Hawaiian theme and I was pretty sure I've heard stories of her liking the Portlandia skit of "Put a bird on it" so I was going to put a bird on it. Then we decided to do two birds - a Mama and baby bird.
Laura may have laughed at my organization skills (or lack of them) but see sister power prevailed.
